avatar-PbtA is a Discord Activity for running Avatar Legends tabletop RPG sessions. These terms govern your use of the application and the Narrator-Sidekick bot. Please read them — they're short and written in plain language.
avatar-PbtA is developed and operated by Seven Stun Studios, an independent game studio. The application runs as an Unverified Discord Activity distributed to private gaming groups. It is not publicly listed in the Discord App Directory.
avatar-PbtA is currently distributed exclusively to:
You must have a valid Discord account in good standing. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use Discord and by extension this application.
avatar-PbtA provides the following functionality:
Important: The bot reads messages in channels where it has been granted permission. It does not read or store direct messages. Message reading is used exclusively for trigger detection in active campaign channels.

avatar-PbtA uses Claude (by Anthropic) to generate content including NPC descriptions, session summaries, character creation guidance, and in-session narrative hooks. You acknowledge that:
Avatar Legends is published by Magpie Games and is used under applicable fair use provisions. avatar-PbtA is an independent software tool; it is not an official Magpie Games product.
The avatar-PbtA software, design system, and original assets are © 2026 Seven Stun Studios. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from these assets without written permission.
Content you create during sessions (character names, campaign premises, fictional positions) remains yours.
avatar-PbtA is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees about uptime, availability, or the accuracy of AI-generated content.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Seven Stun Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the application.
We may update these terms as the application evolves. Material changes will be communicated via the Discord server associated with your gaming group. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

We collect the minimum data needed to run a tabletop RPG session. We don't sell your data. We don't build advertising profiles. We're a small studio building a tool for our gaming table.

We do not collect direct messages, messages outside designated campaign channels, voice data, or any data from channels where the bot has not been explicitly granted permission.
avatar-PbtA runs inside Discord as an Embedded App SDK Activity. Discord's privacy policy governs the data they collect through their platform. We receive user identity information through the Discord OAuth2 flow.
We send message excerpts and structured game state to Anthropic's Claude API for AI features. Anthropic's privacy policy and API usage terms govern how they handle this data. We do not send personally identifiable information beyond what is functionally necessary (character names, fictional scene descriptions).
Campaign data is stored on Seven Stun Studios' backend infrastructure, accessible only to your gaming group. We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Session data is isolated per campaign — one group cannot access another's data.
You have the right to:
avatar-PbtA is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We will notify your gaming group's Discord server of any material changes to this policy at least 14 days before they take effect.
